Are the calculations Eurocode compliant?
Yes. All calculators strictly follow the design methodologies outlined in the Eurocode standards (EN 1990 - EN 1998) and relevant ISO standards. We provide Live Code Clauses within the tools so you can verify the exact formulas being used in real-time.
How does the "Active Project" cloud saving work?
StrucTalogue uses a context-aware saving system. Once you select a project from your Dashboard, it becomes the "Active Project" (visible in your sidebar).

Any calculation you perform can be saved directly to that project's cloud record. This allows you to build a full structural catalogue for a single building without managing multiple loose files.
How are the "Architectural Sizing" results calculated?
The sizing tool uses span-to-depth ratios derived from EN 1992-1-1, EN 1993-1-1, and EN 1995-1-1. For preliminary estimates:
  • Concrete: Based on L/d ratios (typically 24-28) to control serviceability.
  • Steel & Timber: Sized for a basic bending moment capacity and a deflection limit of L/250.

Note: These are for preliminary sizing only and do not account for complex lateral stability or connection stiffness.
