CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: StrucTalogue provides preliminary engineering and estimation tools for educational and conceptual use only. All results generated by this Service MUST be independently vetted, calculated, and signed off by a qualified Professional Structural Engineer (SE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) before any application in the real world.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StrucTalogue (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. No Professional Engineering Services

StrucTalogue does not provide licensed or certified professional engineering, architectural, or construction services. The Service is intended solely as a preliminary design, estimation, and decision-support tool.

StrucTalogue is not the Engineer of Record and does not assume responsibility for final designs, calculations, specifications, or construction outcomes.

3. Professional Review Required

All outputs, calculations, reports, and recommendations generated by StrucTalogue must be independently reviewed, verified, and approved by a suitably qualified and licensed professional before being used for final design, permitting, or construction.

You bear all legal and professional liability for designs generated using the Service. By using this Service, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

Professional Data Integrity: We utilize Google Firestore for secure, encrypted cloud storage. Professional accounts are protected by Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to ensure that your project data remains confidential and accessible only to you.

While we employ industry-standard security measures, users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StrucTalogue shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to structural failure, property damage, personal injury, or financial loss.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StrucTalogue from and against any claims, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or reliance on its outputs.

8. Subscription & Payments

Paid subscriptions provide access to Pro features. Fees are non-refundable. StrucTalogue reserves the right to modify pricing or features at any time.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malta and applicable European Union law.
